Do you remember TV in Black White and shows Like The Andy Griffith Show, Lost in Space and Gilligan Island? What about when you got your first color TV and saw the likes of Batman, Adam 12, The Flintstones, or Emergency! They; along with hundreds of other TV shows are Here. If TV from your past is not your bag; then how about Movies? The Wizard of Oz, The Poseidon Adventure, Jaws, and so many more. Did someone say food, well whats a movie without a bite afterward; maybe McDonald's, Burger Chef, Kentucky Fried Chicken, or Taco Bell when they served Bellbeefers. Back then I think we all watched commercials for the latest Car; like a Boss 302 Mustang or maybe the latest toy like Mr.s Beasley or a GI Joe. If you don't own one then wear one. Who could forget the music of that time period? We have all the greats here; The Beatles; The Monkees; Elvis; Frank Sinatra; Dean Martin; along with Jan and Dean among others. So join us in celebrating a nostalgic look back with WONDER.
CLASSIC TELEVISON DVD'S
We are now selling CLASSIC TV SHOW DVDs. If you are looking for that show that just does not exist we probably have it. For example ; Cades County, or The Outcasts and many more. What makes our DVD's different from everyone else is we add period commercials to each show on every DVD. This helps to make your watching experience as realistic as possible. For example; you are watching your favorite show and there is Farah selling a Mercury Cougar or Joe Namath popping Popcorn Did you say Promos; we have them to. How about "Your still the One" ABC or a Promo for a show like Code Red or 240-Robert. Adding commercials to every show adds a historical perspective that is very enjoyable. We try to match each commercial to each show as close as we can.
Christmas is upon us and we are currently working on a Christmas DVD for everyone who enjoys Classic TV. For example you are watching Midnight Caller and then you see the Norelco Santa. Or you see a commercial and you say" I remember, I had or I wanted that. For example...MR MICRO PHONE. SATURDAY MORNINGS, you remember them well now you can relive these as well with period commercials, how about watching The original and only Ghost Busters and there is Smedley helping Captain Crunch, Twist Barbie and Adventure Team GI JOE. Did someone say "Conjunction Junction"....go on you know the words. Saturday wouldn't be complete without In The News. Now also available are DVD's from certain weeks in a year. For example Monday 1966 starting at 7:30 there were so many great shows and as you know NO VCR's and 3 channels so we had to watch what mom and pop watched unless you had 2 tv's. At 7:30 you had The Monkees on NBC, Gilligan's Island on CBS and Iron Horse on ABC. Well now you can see all 3 plus shows from the 8, 9 and 10:00 o'clock slots in one DVD set with period commercials. When was the last time you saw Felony Squad or Coronet Blue? Now you can along with Andy, Jeannie, Mr. Terrific, Captain Nice, Rat Patrol and many more; oh did we forget to mention Run Buddy Run and to Tell the Truth. Now you can relive that night with your children in September 1966. THIS IS FAMILY TV at it's best. How many shows can you watch with your 5 year old at 10:00 today?
Quality: Some of the episodes are near dvd quality and many have been converted from the original vhs broadcasts to digital formats. Due to the age of the vhs tapes, there is degradation in episodes. This is not for a HD, Blue Ray; DVD; 720-1080 purest; this is for a trip back in time to revisit these old shows that you have not seen since the original broadcasts. We want to be sure that you are aware that this is more of a vhs quality on dvds. Also, the period commercials are what they are; some are in good shape and some are not.
We will be adding daily to our DVD section. So stay tuned for seasons of your favorite shows.
